Welcome!
You have chosen to visit THE PREMIER alumni band association site of
THE PREMIER Marching Band in the World! From Paris, France to the Virgin
Islands, the Bahamas to Los Angeles, from the streets of Miami, FL,
to the sands bordering the Persian Gulf, our members have been there,
AND done that!
Our proud membership boasts a myriad of alumni members in the areas
of Medicine, Information Technology, the Armed Forces, Education, AND Music!
With the youngest Director of Bands in the nation, Jorim Reid, at North
Carolina Central University, we have not only cornered our market,
but are going into others as well!
Yes, we've been to a few places,
and we're going to even more, folks. And add to that, our newest addition
to the Music Dept. at FAMU, Shelby Chipman (Asst. to the Director of Bands),
and you have nothing but the absolute truth!
How many bands in America can say that they won a Sudler award? Less
than 20, but the "100" was band #4!
And the only way to be a part of such an elite group of musicians
who have not only toiled and sweated on the football field, but excelled
in the jazz and symphonic bands, is to come to Florida Agricultural &
Mechanical University to experience being a part of the absolute best!
