Welcome to the home of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter of the Marching 100 — an organization created to bring alumni members together to continue our commitment to excellence beyond our college years.
It is indeed an honor and privilege to lead the distinguished Atlanta Chapter. We are excited about the growth of our organization. It is our objective and purpose to partner with the Marching 100 Alumni Association as alumni members from across the Atlanta Metro area inquire about becoming part of the Atlanta Alumni family.
It is our focus to keep you abreast of current events and state of affairs regarding our beloved and famous Marching 100 Band and esteemed university. In Atlanta, we strive to continue the legacy of those life lessons which we learned from our participation in the FAMU Marching 100. We will always foster the motto and principles of Highest Quality of Character, Achievement in Academics, Attainment in Leadership, Perfection in Musicianship, Dedication to Service and as alumni, Precision in our daily lives.
I welcome you to join our organization where you have made lifelong lasting relationships with the people that wore the orange and green. I look forward to serving you as President of the Atlanta Chapter.
Who We Are
The Atlanta Chapter of the Marching 100 Alumni Band Association serves alumni members living in and around the Atlanta Metro area. Our chapter was created to bring together those who shared the unique experience of marching in the Incomparable Marching "100" and to continue that commitment to excellence in their professional and personal lives.
We partner actively with the national Marching 100 Alumni Band Association to support the FAMU Band Program — providing scholarships, resources, and advocacy for the students who carry the legacy forward today.
Whether you played in the brass section, carried the flag, or kept the beat — if the Marching "100" shaped you, the Atlanta Chapter is your home.
Chapter History
The Atlanta Chapter was established to serve the growing community of Marching 100 alumni in the Atlanta Metropolitan area — one of the largest concentrations of FAMU graduates in the country.
Founded in the spirit of the national association's mission, the Atlanta Chapter has grown steadily as more alumni in the region recognized the importance of staying connected to the band family and giving back to the program that shaped them.
Today the chapter continues to grow — driven by the same commitment that inspired its founding members: to ensure the Marching "100" remains Incomparable.
The Marching 100 Alumni Band Association was officially founded in Atlanta, GA with approximately 60 charter members.
Atlanta-area alumni organize to form the Atlanta Chapter, creating a local hub for M100 alumni in the metro area.
The Atlanta Chapter continues to grow, connecting alumni across the metro area and supporting the FAMU Band Program.
